Participate in our current survey:

“Speech in Parkinson's disease: A Comparison Between Individuals with and without DBS.”

  • Changes in speech/speech disturbance is very common for individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD).
  • There is limited research looking at the patient's perspective about speech disturbance, particularly as it relates to differences between individuals with PD who have Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and those who do not.
  • Your participation in this survey will help provide valuable information to better understand the experience of speech in individuals with PD.
  • A report will be generated to help educate and support patients and carers and to give a collective “voice” for individuals with PD to help the treatment providers better understand the patient's experience.
  • For examples of previous reports, please visit http://www.dbs-stn.org/survey.php.
