PWP - Rick Kramer

Rick Kramer graduated with MSW in 1972. Went on for some Post Grad work at Adler Institute.

Rick worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities for his 23 years as a professional doing work as an administrator of residential living, day treatment center and Family Services including running a camp at Frost Valley. He worked with many families as well as took administrative responsibility for 3 million dollars of programming. Rick was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1983 and worked for 10 years after that. In 1998 he had DBS implants and despite numerous difficulties in finding a lasting setting, Rick is very grateful to the clinicians who worked with him during those difficult times.
